Mass surya namaskar in Madhya Pradesh
BHOPAL, JAN 12. Students from more than 6000 schools in Madhya Pradesh did the surya namaskar in one fell swoop today with the hope of setting a Guinness Book record.
The exercise was held across the state and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was among the participants.
The signal to begin the sun salute was given via All India Radio. The event was held today to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand. The government had hired offi cials to record the event which will be sent for review to those who handle the Guinness Book of World Records. It could take upto a month for the verdict to be shared.
